Google Reno, NV data center is seeking a Facilities Technician to operate, monitor, and support physical facilities conditions, including HVAC, piping, and electrical systems. You will read blueprints, assist senior technicians, and help maintain uptime while complying with safety rules and environmental standards.

US: $86,000–$118,000 (USD) plus 15% bonus target, equity and benefits; English proficiency required; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or related technical training or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of Mechanical/HVAC experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use PPE.
• Ability to work non-standard hours and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair data center systems such as piping and mechanical components.
• Provide daily assistance to technicians reading blueprints/schematics and conduct system tours.
• Manage uptime and maintenance of water pumps, HVAC, and control systems.
• Operate, monitor, and respond to abnormal conditions in data center facilities.
• Support startup, commissioning, and integration of new mechanical equipment.
