Job summary

Johnson Controls Inc. seeks experienced HVAC mechanics to service light commercial and industrial cooling systems in data center environments. The role covers maintenance, repair and new installations with a focus on safe, efficient operation and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be a member or willing to join the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada, AFL-CIO.
• Minimum of eight (8) years commercial/industrial HVAC/mechanical troubleshooting experience.
• Able to repair centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, screw chillers and/or ammonia/hydrocarbon system components.
• Universal EPA refrigerants license, and valid state/local licensing & driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair and replacement on commercial HVACR systems.
• Provide quotes to customers and support recommended solutions.
• Travel 10%–20% to support branch activities, installation and repair.
• Work with Journeymen and apprentices; train on job when needed.
