Job summary

Mechanical Products Nevada is seeking a Field Service Technician Level 2 to support startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting of mission‑critical cooling systems in hyperscale data centers. You will perform mechanical, electrical, and controls troubleshooting with minimal supervision and coordinate with senior techs.

The role offers hands‑on learning, opportunities to grow technical skills, and collaboration with startup and commissioning teams in Nevada markets.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years HVAC, mechanical, or industrial equipment experience.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and piping diagrams.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting with familiarity with control systems.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Support startup and commissioning of CRAH, CRAC, IRHX, and DAHU equipment.
• Execute pre‑functional checks, assist functional commissioning tests, and verify installations.
• Monitor startup performance, identify issues, and help determine root causes.
• Troubleshoot hydronic and chilled‑water systems, glycol loops, and air handling equipment.
• Read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics to support troubleshooting.
• Complete startup checklists and commissioning documentation; maintain records.
