Job summary

Munters in the United States is seeking an experienced HVAC Data Center Technician to support on-site start-up, commissioning and safe troubleshooting of data center equipment. This role requires independent work and strong diagnostic skills, with project coordination during start-up across trades.

Candidates must be willing to travel up to 90% across the USA, enjoy hands-on problem solving, and maintain stringent safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the HVAC field.
• Willing to travel up to 90% across the USA.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and data recording abilities.
• Knowledge of safety procedures including arc flash and lockout/tagout; PPE use.
• Extensive refrigeration knowledge with brazing and soldering skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform startup, commissioning, warranty and billable service on Data Center equipment.
• Maintain and protect Munters equipment and property.
• Respond to service requests from customers or management.
• Provide customer training on Munters equipment.
• Provide field service reports with technical feedback.
• Coordinate onsite start-up commissioning with other trades.
