Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Forest City, NC is seeking a Foreman to lead our site delivery of data center infrastructure.

You will coordinate with the onsite PM, manage field teams, ensure schedule adherence, and uphold safety and quality standards across copper and fiber cabling projects. The role requires strong leadership, proven project management, and the ability to read drawings, forecast manpower, and communicate clearly with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in installation of standard cabling technologies and rack infrastructure for large builds.
• Ability to lead multiple crews and manage time effectively.
• Forecast manpower and labor units for projects.
• Document leadership and build paperwork with clear communication.
• Read/understand drawings and portmaps; work with cabling standards.
• Certified cabling test technician (CFTT) or Certified Fiber Installer (CFI) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Report to onsite Project Manager and align with schedule and directives.
• Capture updates from Leads and submit to PM weekly.
• Attend weekly PM sync meetings.
• Oversee milestones, productivity, and safety on site.
• Coordinate with Field Engineers and other trades for execution.
• Manage labor and budget on assigned projects.
• QA/QC review of completed work with Field Engineer.
• Ensure customer standards and safety policies are followed.
• Support new deployments and live site requests with project management.
• Attend customer design/build review meetings when required.
