Job summary

Hanley Energy, a global innovator in mission-critical power and energy management, seeks a Data Center Field Technician to join Hanley Energy USA. You will represent the company in customer data centers, helping to reduce energy costs and maintain 100% up-time.

You will work at customer sites performing installation and maintenance on Energy Management Systems, switchgear, UPS, electrical and power generation equipment.

Qualifications

• Technical (military/trade) training or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a Data Center or critical environment.
• 2+ years in electrical and/or mechanical work.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid leadership and organizational abilities.
• Detail oriented with ability to manage fast-paced tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform root cause analysis of equipment failure.
• Troubleshoot facility and rack-level events within SLA.
• Conduct limited maintenance tasks on systems.
• Take operational readings and document findings.
• Operate within safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Enter data into CMMS and manage work orders.
• Meet with customers to identify data center needs and gather requirements.
• Maintain power/cooling and ensure clean room environments.
