Job summary

CBRE | DIRECTLINE, a CBRE Data Center Solutions business, seeks a Superintendent to coordinate field operations, safety, scheduling and workforce planning for projects within driving distance of the office. The role requires deep understanding of union contracts and effective leadership of technicians.

You will manage pre-construction activities, review plans for constructability, and mentor junior staff while ensuring quality, safety, and budget adherence across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related construction management or superintendent experience.
• OHSA 30 certification.
• Must meet Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) requirements.
• Must be badgeable and able to meet client access requirements.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; AutoCAD knowledge is a plus.
• Familiar with construction management software.
• Ability to plan, organize, lead, and motivate teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise throughout the Pre-Construction process.
• Oversees and schedules all technician manpower across assigned geographies.
• Follow union contract requirements for lay-offs and recalls.
• Maintain daily timecards reporting and accuracy.
• Ensure safety programs and MSDS information are communicated at start-up.
• Review plans, specifications, and constructability for schedule issues.
• Mentor and train other employees.
• Travel extensively across multiple sites.
