Job summary

Vertiv is seeking an Equipment Installer II to perform quality installation of equipment in Data Center/Construction environments in accordance with engineering drawings and customer standards. This field-based role requires regional and occasional national travel.

Responsibilities include on-site analysis of drawings and MOPs, ensuring safety and compliance, and providing professional customer service while using MS Office for data entry. Background screening will apply.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal, written and customer-facing communication.
• Basic computer skills; MS Office or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Install equipment in Data Center/Construction environments.
• On-site analysis of job drawings, specifications and MOPs.
• Ensure quality installations by conforming to all applicable standards.
• Perform all work with safety as the top priority. This includes following all company and customer mandated procedures as well as utilizing the proper PPE for the task at hand.
• Maintain professional appearance and provide outstanding customer service.
• Use computer for Data Entry/Administrative tasks.
• Ability to pass background, drug, and motor vehicle screening.
