Job summary

Vertiv is seeking an Equipment Installer II to ensure quality installation of equipment in Data Center/Construction environments, following engineering instructions and customer standards. This field-based role requires regional and occasional national travel.

Responsibilities include on-site analysis of drawings and MOPs, ensuring conformance to standards, safety, and excellent customer service while using MS Office for data entry and admin tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong verbal, written and customer-facing skills.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Install equipment in Data Center/Construction environments
• On-site analysis of drawings, specifications and MOPs
• Ensure quality installations conform to applicable standards
• Perform all work with safety as the top priority and follow procedures
• Maintain professional appearance and provide outstanding customer service
• Use computer for Data Entry/Administrative tasks
• Ability to pass background, drug, and motor vehicle screening
