Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in AZ Mesa is seeking a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain and troubleshoot mission-critical data center facilities, including diesel generators, switchgear, UPS, PDUs, cooling systems, and life-safety equipment.

You will work with a diverse team across AWS to ensure safety, security, and cost-efficient operations. The role requires physical mobility, ability to travel between data centers, and flexible shifts up to 12 hours; relocation stipend is provided

Qualifications

• 1+ years electrical facilities maintenance or mechanical facilities maintenance experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
• Willing to travel between data center locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily rounds to monitor electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment for 24/7 reliability.
• Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Management System (EPMS).
• Troubleshoot facility and rack-level events within internal SLAs.
• Perform rack installs and decommissioning within SLA.
• PM, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment.
