Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Jeffersonville, Ohio is seeking an Engineering Operations Technician to perform hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting of critical data center infrastructure, including stand-by generators, switchgear, UPS, PDUs, and cooling systems.

Qualifications

2+ years of electrical or mechanical experience.
Ability to work on a flexible schedule including days, nights, and/or weekends.
2+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Management System (EPMS).
On-site support of contractors, sub-contractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with practices and local legislation.

Responsibilities

Daily building rounds to monitor electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment.
Monitor BMS and EPMS systems.
Troubleshoot facility and rack-level events within SLAs.
Perform rack installs and decommissions within SLA.
PM, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repair of equipment.
Support change management with technical documentation.
Coordinate with contractors and vendors on-site.
