Job summary

Tek One Solutions is seeking Level I and Level II Data Center Fiber Technicians for a long-term project in the Odessa/Midland, TX area. The role focuses on pulling and routing pre-terminated fiber optic cabling within a data center environment, with potential ribbon fiber, while maintaining cable pathways and safety standards.

Responsibilities include following project drawings, organizing cabling, and ensuring bend radii and site rules.

Qualifications

• Experience with pulling and routing fiber optic cabling in data centers.
• OSHA 10 required or OSHA 30 accepted.
• Ability to pass a background check and a 5-panel drug screen.
• Reliable transportation and site orientation readiness.

Responsibilities

• Pull and route pre-terminated fiber optic cabling.
• Support installation of various fiber counts.
• Handle and route ribbon fiber when present.
• Follow designated cable pathways and project drawings.
• Maintain bend radius and proper cable-handling practices.
• Dress and organize fiber neatly throughout installation.
• Identify and report damaged cabling and maintain clean workmanship.
