Job summary

Google Sterling, VA data centers require dedicated technicians to operate, monitor, and support facility activities. You will work with teams to identify issues, coordinate with contractors, and maintain safety standards.

In this training role you will learn Google systems and tools to build a solid technical foundation while supporting non-production facilities and on-call duties. Strong problem-solving and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Mechanical/HVAC or electrical.
• Experience with Electrical Maintenance, Electrical Safety, Electrical Systems, Generators, Electrical Schematics.
• Ability to work non-standard hours.
• Ability to participate in material handling tasks up to 50 lbs with PPE.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and support facility activities at Google's data centers.
• Identify and repair problems quickly; ensure safety and quality of services.
• Train alongside experienced technicians and learn Google systems and tools.
