Job summary

Google West Memphis, AR, USA is seeking a Facilities Technician to operate, monitor and maintain data center electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems. You will inspect and repair critical infrastructure, read blueprints, and support startup and commissioning of new equipment.

The role requires an Associate’s degree or certified training in a related field and at least 5 years of electrical experience in industrial environments.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or certified training in a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of electrical experience in an industrial or commercial environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use PPE as required.
• Ability to work non-standard hours and varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair data center systems.
• Read blueprints/schematics and operate systems, conducting tours and assessing functionality.
• Manage uptime and maintenance of UPS, generators, electrical distribution, and control systems.
• Operate and respond to abnormal conditions in data center facilities.
• Support startup, commissioning, and integration of new electrical equipment.
