Job summary

Google is seeking a Data Center Facilities Technician, Controls to join our West Memphis, AR team. You will operate, monitor, and maintain data center facilities, including electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems, and support the integration of new controls equipment.

You will collaborate with technicians to read blueprints, review ladder logic, and ensure systems are running reliably. Qualified candidates have an associate degree or certified training in a related field and at least 7 years of

Qualifications

Associate's degree or certified training in a related technical field.
7 years of experience in Controls/Automation in an industrial or commercial environment.
Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs and use OSHA PPE and safety equipment.
Ability to work non-standard hours and rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

Inspect, maintain, and repair data center systems including servers, network equipment, PLCs, SCADA, and access control.
Provide daily assistance to technicians: read blueprints, tours of systems, and assess working order.
Control, monitor, log, and alarm data center systems.
Operate, monitor, maintain, and respond to abnormal conditions in data center facilities.
Support startup, commissioning, and integration of new controls equipment and systems.
