Job summary

Google is seeking a Data Center Facilities Technician, Electrical in West Memphis, AR to inspect, maintain and repair critical electrical systems within a hyperscale data center. You will monitor UPS, generators, electrical distribution, and related controls while coordinating with teams to ensure high availability.

Qualifications

• 7 years of electrical experience in industrial or commercial environments.
• Associate degree or related trade certification, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use PPE as required.
• Willingness to work non-standard hours and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair data center electrical and related systems.
• Read blueprints/schematics and supervise system tours to assess operating order.
• Manage uptime for UPS, generators, electrical distribution, and control systems.
• Operate and monitor facilities systems and respond to abnormal conditions.
• Support startup, commissioning, and integration of new electrical equipment.
