Job summary

Aligned Data Centers is seeking a Facilities Technician to join our 24x7 data center operations team at Ord, Nebraska. You will perform hands-on maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems under the Facility Manager’s direction.

Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, coordinating with contractors and internal teams, and ensuring safe, compliant operations while delivering reliable infrastructure performance for our customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in electrical or mechanical critical facilities.
• Willing to work overtime and longer shifts (12 hour).
• MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, monitors, and performs preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on critical and non‑critical equipment.
• Electrical responsibilities include plan, implement, coordinate and supervision of all electrical operations, maintenance, and energy management programs for a critical facilities environment.
• Receive and execute work orders for preventative and corrective maintenance on critical systems and building physical structure.
• Respond immediately to emergency situations (fire, evacuation, equipment failure, etc.) and customer concerns.
• Understand the engineering design and operational aspect of all electrical systems.
