Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Facilities Manager in New Jersey to lead a team responsible for critical infrastructure operations and 24/7 maintenance of a data center facility. You will drive uptime, manage budgets, and coordinate with vendors, IT, and networks to optimize PUE and lifecycle plans.

The role requires 3–5 years in critical environments, a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and strong leadership abilities to motivate teams toward zero-downtime goals.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in critical environments or facilities management.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience staffing, training, and retaining technical personnel.
• Knowledge of UPS, generators, chillers, and BMS/DCIM systems.
• Ability to handle sensitive data and incident communications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise critical facilities employees and oversee 24/7/365 shift activities.
• Coordinate maintenance with vendors and monitor critical infrastructure.
• Manage budgets, capital projects, and variance reports.
• Mentor staff and drive cross-training to achieve zero-downtime goals.
• Maintain client relationships regarding uptime and incidents.
