Job summary

Google Council Bluffs is seeking a Facilities Manager for Data Center Operations to oversee daily facility operations, compliance, and global program execution. You will lead a team of engineers, collaborate across units, and drive efficiency and reliability in critical data center infrastructure.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of experience managing technical teams, strong leadership, and a track record of mentoring managers within mission critical environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience managing technical teams in charge of operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and controls infrastructure and components.
• Experience in mentoring or developing managers.

Responsibilities

• Own compliance activities for a data center and analyze compliance results for data centers globally.
• Lead efforts to monitor data center systems operations and to minimize risk and ensure effective response to excursions.
• Lead efforts to ensure all sites follow facility, maintenance, and standard programs globally with improvements to policies and programs.
• Own the development of strategies to keep operational costs to a minimum, improve efficiency, and reduce environmental impact at a site.
