Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a Data Center Facilities Manager in Ashburn, VA to oversee site operations, maintenance, and customer support for the data center campus. You will supervise the Data Center Support Technicians and contractors, coordinate schedules, and ensure 100% availability of critical systems.

Reporting to the Director or VP of Operations, you will manage budgets, accounts payable, and vendor contracts while maintaining drawings and space planning.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in a Data Center environment.
• 5 years’ experience related to commercial facility and supporting system management.
• Experience with building automation systems, implementation, and management.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s Degree and/or professional certifications in related field(s) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain 100% availability in the data center.
• Supervise Data Center Support Technicians, contractors, and Building Engineers.
• Manage staff schedules, training, and growth.
• Operate and maintain environmental and power systems for 100% availability.
• Ensure high levels of customer support and satisfaction.
• Estimate time and materials for repairs and projects.
• Track and manage the facility's budget and accounts payable.
• Oversee contractor work and ensure compliance.
• Provide 24/7 on-call support.
• Maintain drawings, docs, and space planning.
