Job summary

H5 Data Centers, LLC is seeking a Data Center Building Engineer to maintain and operate all mechanical and electrical systems within the data center campus. The role involves monitoring critical infrastructure, coordinating with vendors, and supporting 12-hour shift operations on a 4-on/4-off schedule.

Responsibilities include installing and maintaining electrical gear, performing routine maintenance, safety inspections per NEC and local codes, and documenting work progress.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of electrical and mechanical experience in High Availability environments.
• College/Technical degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in data center or similar environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all mechanical and electrical systems in the data center.
• Monitor critical systems to ensure uptime and reliability.
• Install wiring, lighting, control systems, and equipment such as breakers, motors, and generators.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform routine maintenance.
• Oversee third-party vendors and ensure safety/compliance.
