Job summary

ADB Companies, LLC is seeking an Estimating Engineer to lead all aspects of estimating and bidding for complex data center projects. You will develop comprehensive cost estimates for CIS/OSP work, review designs, and guide GMP modeling while coordinating with engineers and clients.

The ideal candidate has GMP cost estimating expertise, data center experience, and proficiency with Accubid or PlanSwift, Bluebeam, and MS Office. Willingness to travel nationwide up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in utility construction estimating.
• 5+ years overseeing data center projects or mission critical facilities.
• Extensive GMP cost modeling experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed, comprehensive cost estimates for data center projects.
• Review RFPs, drawings, specifications, and perform takeoffs.
• Develop GMP cost models and bid strategies to win contracts.
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs, and clients to define scope and constraints.
• Solicit bids from subcontractors, evaluate pricing, and negotiate terms.
• Maintain estimating databases and historical cost data.
• Present bid proposals with clear cost breakdowns and schedules.
