Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is hiring a Data Center Engineering Technician to safeguard mission‑critical facilities. You will monitor electrical, mechanical, and cooling systems, respond to incidents, and perform preventive maintenance to keep 24/7 operations running smoothly.

The role requires on‑site work across multiple Oregon sites, collaboration with a diverse team, and flexibility for shifts and travel. A relocation stipend is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting in data center facilities.
• Experience with building management or power management systems is a plus.
• Willingness to travel between data center sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily rounds to monitor electrical, mechanical, and life safety systems.
• Troubleshoot facility and rack‑level events within SLA guidelines.
• Install and decommission racks; perform PM and root‑cause analysis.
• Support change management with technical documentation.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors on site work.
