Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Data Center Engineering Technician to safeguard and optimize our mission-critical facilities across multiple locations. The role focuses on hands-on maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring uptime and reliability for our global cloud infrastructure.

The incumbent will join a diverse team supporting safety, security, and efficiency. Responsibilities include monitoring, troubleshooting, and installing data center gear, with an emphasis on PM

Qualifications

Electrical or mechanical experience in data centers or mission-critical facilities.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends.

Responsibilities

Daily building rounds to monitor electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment.
Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Management System (EPMS).
Assist in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events within SLAs.
Perform rack installs and decommissioning within SLAs.
PM, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment.
