Job summary

Dexian in New Albany, Ohio seeks a hands-on Data Center/Hardware Engineer to maintain critical onsite data center infrastructure. You will be independently accountable for rapid incident resolution, executing onsite work tied to data center systems, and supporting installs, moves, decommissions, reconfigurations, and power-down events in a live production environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years in data center environments and operations.
• Ability to troubleshoot incidents and manage queues in onsite environments.
• Familiarity with data center standards, cabling and network components.
• Strong documentation skills and clear written/verbal communication.
• Team player with a proactive, self-starting mindset.

Responsibilities

• Keep critical onsite data center infrastructure running reliably and safely.
• Independently identify and resolve high-priority issues quickly.
• Execute onsite work tied to data center systems and perform installs, moves, decommissions, reconfigurations, and power-down events.
• Collaborate with Product and Service Owners and Subject Matter Experts, contribute to design discussions.
• Help improve documentation and operational processes, building deeper OSI Layer 1 expertise.
