Job summary

Jump Trading Group is seeking a Production Infrastructure specialist to manage data center operations, hardware, power, cooling, and cabling across locations. The role requires hands-on data center experience and collaboration with global teams to ensure high availability.

You will monitor, plan, and execute hardware deployments, work with vendors and colocation partners, and help maintain standards and inventory.

Qualifications

• At least two years onsite data center experience.
• Understanding of electrical/power, cooling, mechanicals, safety in data centers.
• Knowledge of cabling standards and installation best practices.
• Hardware repair experience in data center infra, servers, networking, storage.

Responsibilities

• Remotely manage data center infrastructure to ensure maximum availability of services.
• Plan hardware installs including power, cooling, cabling, and location.
• Oversee datacenter vendors and onsite technicians.
• Develop and maintain data center standards and documentation.
• Interface with colocation providers and hardware vendors.
• Coordinate data center work with other teams (installation, auditing).
• Perform capacity planning (space, cooling, power, cabling).
• Assist with shipping/receiving and inventory control.
