Job summary

Hamilton Barnes Associates Limited is seeking a Data Centre Infrastructure Engineer to join a growing infrastructure team supporting global trading operations. The role focuses on maintaining, improving, and scaling critical data center infrastructure in a fast-paced tech environment.

You will be responsible for day-to-day operations of data center facilities, hardware installations, structured cabling, and ensuring reliability across Windows and Linux servers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience within a data center, infrastructure, or facilities engineering.
• Hands-on experience with hardware installations, rack deployments, and structured cabling.
• Solid understanding of network infrastructure and physical connectivity standards.
• Experience supporting enterprise server and storage platforms within production environments.
• Exposure to backup and recovery technologies.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux administration.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day operation and reliability of multiple data center facilities.
• Install, configure, and decommission server, storage, and network infrastructure.
• Perform structured cabling and connectivity work across critical technology environments.
• Monitor and maintain environmental systems, power distribution, and cooling infrastructure.
• Provide administration and troubleshooting support across Windows and Linux server environments.
• Assist with troubleshooting hardware, connectivity, power, and facility-related incidents.
