Immediate need for a talented Data Center Engineer . This is a 18 months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Charlotte NC/Jersey City NJ, and Plano TX/Chandler AZ (Hybrid).

Pay Range: $50 - $58/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Data Center Engineering role focused on physical critical facilities, not IT hardware/software.
• Design, maintain, upgrade, and expand power, cooling, capacity, and resilient infrastructure.
• Experience in Data Center/Critical Facilities/Mission-Critical/Colocation/Hyperscale environments preferred.
• Key areas: electrical systems, generators, switchgear, power distribution, cooling, capacity planning, redundancy/failover, DCIM, construction, commissioning, and RCA.
• Lead/support infrastructure engineering, design standards, technical requirements, risk assessment, and project delivery.
• Manage budgets/costs, operational metrics, reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and cross-functional/matrixed collaboration skills.
• Typical 5 years of Data Center/Critical Systems/infrastructure engineering experience.
• Desired: availability/resiliency planning, utility/AHJ coordination, commissioning, site assessments, facility upgrades, failure analysis, and data center operations.
