Job Title: Data Center Engineer
Location: Charlotte, NC
Contribute immediately to infrastructure planning, expansion, and modernization projects with minimal ramp-up time.
Design and implement electrical power distribution systems, including generator, UPS, switchgear, and utility infrastructure engineering.
Develop cooling plant and mechanical infrastructure designs to support data center operations.
Engage in capacity planning, infrastructure modeling, and resiliency engineering to ensure high availability.
Lead commissioning activities, including testing and validation of mechanical, electrical, and fire suppression systems.
Typically 5+ years of experience in Data Center, Critical Systems, or related infrastructure engineering disciplines.
Proven experience supporting data center engineering, construction, upgrades, or integration activities within large or multisite environments.
Strong knowledge of risk assessment, availability concepts, and resiliency planning for critical infrastructure.
Familiarity with data center technologies, monitoring tools, and infrastructure management systems (e.g., power, cooling, telemetry, DCIM).
Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
