Job summary

ON.energy is seeking a Project Manager – Data Center Projects to lead end-to-end battery energy storage and hybrid energy projects for data centers. The role ensures on-time delivery, safety, budget adherence, and quality compliance across US and LATAM sites.

You will coordinate with the Project Executive, manage EPC contracts, and drive schedules, risk management, and reporting, while traveling to sites as needed. Hybrid/remote options available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive energy project management experience.
• Experience managing EPC contractors and complex infrastructure projects.
• Proficient in project scheduling and budget tracking tools.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary client contact across all project stages.
• Manage safety, schedule, budget, engineering, quality, and commissioning.
• Develop and monitor project schedules using recognized tools.
• Own project budgets from planning to close-out, including forecasting.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks related to cost, safety, quality, and delivery.
• Lead contract negotiations with EPCs, subcontractors, and third-party vendors.
• Manage all change orders, RFIs, NCRs, PCNs, and VCNs in a timely manner.
• Oversee invoice review and approvals across all phases of project delivery.
• Ensure project documentation and reporting are clear, accurate, and timely.
• Foster strong relationships with suppliers and partners to improve execution.
