Job summary

Salute Inc. is seeking a Data Center Electrician to support critical power deployment from busway to cabinet level equipment. You will install, energize, and validate power paths, replace PDUs, and ensure redundancy and safe energization in a data center environment.

The role requires experience with data center electrical deployments, reading schematics, and NFPA 70E training. The position offers full-time hours and on-site work in Afton, TX, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with commercial, industrial, or mission-critical electrical distribution systems.
• Ability to read electrical one-line diagrams and power plans.
• NFPA 70E training or ability to obtain.
• Electrical license or credential required.
• Strong documentation, communication, and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect overhead busway conditions and defects before installation.
• Install tap boxes and cabinet power assignments per layouts.
• Verify placement, wiring, and torque requirements; coordinate with teams.
• Route and secure cabinet power whips and verify cable integrity.
• Replace in-rack PDUs and restore cabinet operation.
• Balance loads and maintain end-to-end redundancy across UPS systems.
• Coordinate energization with operations and document activities.
• Maintain alignment with electrical diagrams and power plans.
• Ensure safe energization procedures and permit documentation.
