Salute is seeking a Data Center Electrician to lead cabinet power deployment, energization, and critical power integrity in our Afton, TX data centers. You will install and validate power equipment, support safe cabinet energization, replace PDUs, and help maintain redundant, balanced power paths.

Collaboration with Salute site leadership is essential for smooth deployment. The role emphasizes hands-on installation, safety compliance, and precise documentation in a live data center environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with electrical distribution in data centers.
• Ability to read electrical one-line diagrams and power plans.
• NFPA 70E training or ability to obtain before assignment.
• Electrical license or credential as required by location.

Responsibilities

• Inspect overhead busway and install tap boxes per layouts.
• Verify placement, orientation, security, and torque of components.
• Support IR scanning and complete installation documentation.
• Route cabinet power whips and verify cable integrity.
• Connect cabinet input power and confirm labeling/cable management.
• Verify cabinets are grounded and ready for energization.
• Coordinate energization with operations and validate voltage.
• Replace in-rack PDUs and ensure orderly cabling.
• Balance loads and maintain end-to-end redundancy.
• Monitor circuit loading and coordinate distribution changes.
• Follow NFPA 70E safety practices and stop unsafe work.
