IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical seeks a full-time Electrical Superintendent for Data Center projects in Chester, Virginia.

The role emphasizes safety, schedule adherence, and budget control while coordinating with the PM team on material buyouts and labor tracking. Candidates should have a state electrical journeyman license or a 4-year engineering degree, plus 10+ years in electrical construction supervision.

Qualifications

• Current State Electrical Journeyman License or 4 year engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or licensed journeyman experience.
• 10+ years experience in electrical construction supervision, technology, methods, equipment, tools, and work procedures.
• Experience with technical industrial, Pharmaceutical, or Data Center environments.
• OSHA 30 or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and direct personnel involved in installation of electrical systems.
• Maintain a culture of safety and quality first.
• Understand project design, drawings, specifications, and installation requirements.
• Work with Project Management Team on material/equipment buyouts, schedules, labor, and tracking.
• Monitor quality of workmanship and ensure compliance with standards.
• Evaluate, mentor, and train field supervision and tradesmen.
• Perform takeoffs and pricing for change orders and related work.
• Evaluate productivity and schedules and optimize efficiency.
