Job summary

Trane Technologies in Kentucky seeks an Electrical Engineer for the Airside Data Center Fan Coil Wall (TCDC) Pod. You will support bid responses, submittals, BOM development, and model generation, coordinating with mechanical, controls, and design resources to deliver complete engineering packages for customer orders.

The role provides exposure across the order execution lifecycle, with opportunities to improve quality, manufacturability, and field support, while collaborating with manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• Experience in design engineering or product engineering preferred.
• Experience supporting configured-to-order or engineered-to-order products preferred.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems and engineering documentation.
• Ability to collaborate across engineering, design, operations, and manufacturing teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support electrical engineering activities for the Airside Data Center Fan Coil Wall (TCDC) Pod.
• Support job processing activities, including bid support, submittals, order release, BOM development, and model generation.
• Develop and review electrical design content to support customer-specific orders and product configurations.
• Coordinate with mechanical, controls, and design resources to ensure complete and accurate engineering deliverables.
• Support production and field activities by resolving electrical design issues and providing timely technical assistance.
• Participate in risk assessments, design reviews, and problem-solving activities to support safe, reliable, and manufacturable designs.
• Help identify and implement design improvements that enhance product quality, manufacturability, and customer satisfaction.
