Job summary

JLL is seeking an Electrical SME for Data Centers in Dallas to maintain mission-critical electrical infrastructure, including high-voltage systems, UPS, generators, and PDUs. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot faults, and respond to outages while ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial or industrial electrical experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including switchgear, transformers, UPS, and emergency generators.
• Perform preventive maintenance on critical power infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and power quality issues using diagnostic equipment.
• Execute planned maintenance during scheduled windows to minimize client impact.
• Respond to emergency electrical issues and outages with urgency.
• Collaborate with facility engineers to optimize power efficiency and reliability.
• Maintain documentation of all electrical work.
• Support electrical upgrades to accommodate growing data center capacity requirements.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and data center standards.
• Be the first point of contact for service impacting events.
• Assist in troubleshooting and mitigating incidents.
• Assist in root cause analysis (RCAs).
• Be available for after-hours support (24x7).
