Job summary

JLL is seeking an Electrical SME for data center facilities in the Dallas area. You will maintain high‑voltage systems, UPS, generators, and PDUs in a 24/7 environment to ensure uptime for critical operations.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, fault troubleshooting, and documentation. The role requires strong diagnostic skills, MV switchgear experience, and the ability to work with facility engineers. On-site position with after-hours support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial or industrial electrical experience.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Experience with medium voltage switchgear and electrical distribution systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, and emergency generators.
• Perform preventive maintenance on critical power infrastructure including battery systems, automatic transfer switches, and PDUs.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and power quality issues using advanced diagnostic equipment and monitoring systems.
• Execute planned maintenance during scheduled windows to minimize client impact.
• Respond to emergency electrical issues and power outages with urgency and precision.
• Collaborate with facility engineers and technicians to optimize power efficiency and system reliability.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all electrical work and system modifications.
• Support electrical upgrades and expansions to accommodate growing data center capacity.
