Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in data center electrical engineering, facility operations, or mission-critical environments.
• Extensive knowledge of power distribution, redundancy design, grounding and emergency backups.
• Hands-on with high/low voltage systems, schematics and load analysis.
• Familiar with NFPA, NEC, IEEE, Uptime Institute tiers.
• Experience with power monitoring/control systems (SCADA/EPMS/BMS).
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication.
• PE or PMP certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for all electrical systems within the data center (PDUs, UPS, switchgear, generators).
• Lead troubleshooting, optimize performance, mitigate risks.
• Develop maintenance strategies and reliability programs for electrical infrastructure.
• Collaborate with design/construction/operations to enhance resiliency and scalability.
• Analyze data to identify trends and improvements.
• Evaluate new technologies with vendors and ensure code compliance.
• Conduct root-cause analysis for power incidents and plan corrective actions.
• Mentor operations staff on best practices.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety standards.
