Job summary

Jobot is establishing a new data center division and seeking a senior electrical leader to define design standards and oversee critical infrastructure projects. You will oversee MV/LV power distribution, engage directly with clients, mentor staff, and coordinate with vendors to deliver high-reliability solutions for hyperscale and enterprise clients.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
PE license required.
15+ years in electrical engineering, data centers or mission-critical.
Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IEEE standards.
Experience with large-scale power systems from utility to critical load.
Expertise with ETAP or SKM power modeling.
Strong leadership and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

Serve as electrical technical authority for data center projects.
Lead design and review of medium- and low-voltage power distribution systems.
Develop design standards and best practices for mission-critical facilities.
Provide guidance on redundancy strategies and uptime requirements.
Perform load-flow, short circuit, coordination, and arc-flash analyses.
Engage with clients as trusted advisor during concept development, design reviews, and execution.
Coordinate with vendors to ensure optimal system performance.
Lead design reviews, HAZOPs, and commissioning planning.
Mentor electrical engineering staff and build data center design excellence.
