Job summary

DataX Connect is seeking an experienced Electrical Lead to manage field execution of a major data center project in Lubbock, Texas. This hands-on contract role requires coordinating electrical construction with the General Contractor, electrical subs, engineers and project leadership.

The ideal candidate will maintain a strong on-site presence, oversee contractor performance, review drawings and specs, manage interfaces with related trades, and drive safety, quality and progress toward

Qualifications

• Extensive electrical construction experience on large Data Center projects.
• Experience overseeing electrical contractors and subcontractors.
• Strong knowledge of electrical infrastructure and power systems.
• Familiar with schedules, project controls and contractor management.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specs.
• Leadership and field-communication capabilities in multi-disciplinary settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical construction scope across the project.
• Oversee electrical contractors and subcontractors daily.
• Maintain strong field presence and monitor activities.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, CSA, Controls and others.
• Review schedules and monitor progress to milestones.
• Identify risks and support corrective actions.
• Support testing, energisation, commissioning and turnover.
• Report progress, risks, and contractor performance to leadership.
