Job summary

Data Center Frontier LLC is seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning Agent in Columbus, OH with limited travel. You will lead Level 1-3 commissioning, coordinate with Engineering and Construction teams, manage 3rd party CxA firms, and ensure high‑quality testing and documentation for data center facilities.

The role requires strong knowledge of electrical power systems, MEP coordination, and site QC processes, with experience in data centers and mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

• 4-10+ years experience with Electrical Power Systems.
• Bachelor's/Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant experience.
• P.E or EIT certification is a plus.
• Experience commissioning data centers, colos, hyperscale companies.
• Data Center project experience on projects 5 MW or larger is a plus.
• 3-5 years QA/QC, Commissioning, MEP coordination or related experience.
• Cx professional certifications (BCxP, CxA, CCP, etc.) a plus.
• Knowledge of BIM 360/ACC, CxAlloy, and MS Office tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication; travel flexibility (M-F, limited travel).

Responsibilities

• Perform Level 1-3 commissioning procedures per established practices.
• Coordinate 3rd party CxA firms for higher-level commissioning.
• Report site Cx status to senior leadership and clients.
• Coordinate startup, testing, and documentation for critical infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain commissioning test procedures and logs.
• Review design criteria, drawings, and submittals pertinent to commissioning.
• Interface with clients, contractors, vendors and project teams.
• Lead commissioning meetings and ensure QC processes are followed.
