Job summary

Data Center Frontier LLC seeks an Electrical Commissioning Agent to lead the commissioning of a Mesa, AZ data center project with limited travel. You will coordinate with engineering and construction teams, manage 1-3 level commissioning, and report progress to leadership and clients.

The role requires strong documentation, communication, and field-testing experience across electrical distributions, UPS, and generators in mission-critical facilities. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 4-10+ years experience with Electrical Power Systems.
• Bachelor's / Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant experience; Military a plus.
• P.E or EIT a plus.
• Experience commissioning enterprise data centers, colos, and hyperscale environments.
• Data Center Project experience on projects 5 MW or larger a plus.
• 3-5 years of Quality Assurance / Quality Controls, Commissioning, MEP Coordination, or other relevant experience.
• Solid understanding of critical electrical power systems in data centers.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodic site walk-throughs to ensure procedures and standards are followed.
• Manage level 1-3 commissioning procedures per established practices.
• Oversee 3rd party CxA firms for commissioning work above L3.
• Communicate status of operations to senior management and clients.
• Site acceptance and commissioning to meet company standards.
• Develop commissioning tests, logs, and reports; track deficiencies and updates.
• Review design criteria, drawings, submittals and documentation for commissioning.
• Coordinate startup, testing, and integration of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Lead meetings with contractors and vendors; interface with project teams.
• Assist field troubleshooting and provide documentation for O&M manuals.
