Job summary

ASafe Global is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead the safety strategy on a major data centre construction project in Spur, Texas. This 12-month client-side contract begins in September and emphasizes local candidate preference, regulatory compliance and proactive safety culture.

You will drive EHS programmes, conduct risk assessments, and deliver inductions and training to ensure a safe, compliant project lifecycle. Strong leadership and regulatory knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years' experience in an EHS Manager role within construction, data centre or oil & gas environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of EHS programmes, policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal EHS regulations, client and company standards.
• Conduct routine site inspections, audits and risk assessments; implement corrective actions.
• Partner with project teams, contractors and management to promote a strong safety culture.
• Deliver EHS inductions, toolbox talks and training to improve awareness and compliance.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses; determine root causes and prevent recurrence.
• Monitor safety performance, prepare reports, and communicate findings to leadership.
• Maintain EHS documentation including permits, training records, inspection reports and incident logs.
• Support emergency preparedness with response plans and drills.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and client representatives as required.
