Job summary

ASafe Global is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to support a major data centre construction project in Haskell, Texas. This is a 12-month client-side contract commencing in September, offering the opportunity to drive safety performance on a high-profile project.

Local candidates are strongly preferred. You will lead the site's environmental, health, and safety strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance, promoting best practices, and fostering a proactive safety culture throughout the project

Qualifications

• 7+ years in an EHS role within construction or data centre environments.
• Experience supporting large-scale projects and regulatory compliance knowledge.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of EHS programmes and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal EHS regulations and client standards.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments; implement corrective actions.
• Partner with project teams, contractors, and management to promote safety culture.
• Deliver EHS inductions, toolbox talks, and training to workforce.
• Investigate incidents and near misses; determine root causes and preventive actions.
• Monitor safety performance; prepare reports and communicate findings to leadership.
• Maintain EHS documentation including permits, records, and incident logs.
• Support emergency preparedness with plans and drills; coordinate responses.
• Liaise with regulators and client representatives as required.
