Job summary

Meta is seeking a Design Project Lead for its Data Center Design Engineering team. This role oversees Civil, Structural, Landscape, and Architecture disciplines across greenfield, leased, and retrofit data center projects, coordinating with stakeholders to deliver on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.

You will lead design development, document production, and construction administration while managing risk, schedule compression, and collaboration with EoR, GC, and regulatory

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in mission-critical building design, construction, and/or operations.
• Fluent in English, as coordination with internal teams and external partners is required.
• Experience with design software such as Google Suite, Revit/BIM, Bluebeam, Autodesk, ACC.

Responsibilities

• Lead Civil, Structural, Landscape, and Architectural disciplines on new builds, leased facilities, and retrofits.
• Oversee end-to-end project planning, defining scope, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Serve as primary technical liaison between business stakeholders and design engineering teams.
• Manage meetings, retrospectives, and reviews to drive transparency and continuous improvement.
• Ensure on-time, within-budget delivery with focus on safety, quality, operability, and sustainability.
• Prepare and issue RFPs, analyze proposals, and manage contracts and change orders.
• Provide oversight to ensure owner requirements and industry standards are met.
