Job summary

Computacenter is seeking a Project Engineer to provide end-to-end technical leadership for customer deployments, from requirements discovery through build, integration, validation, and technical closure. You will translate customer requirements into executable designs and serve as the primary technical liaison among customers, project leadership, and engineering teams.

The role emphasizes project delivery over pre-sales activity, with focus on design, documentation, and configuration management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years designing or deploying enterprise technology environments.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into detailed technical designs.
• US work eligibility is required.
• Strong communication and accountability for technical outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery to gather, validate, and document customer requirements, constraints, dependencies, and acceptance criteria.
• Translate requirements into executable designs and documentation.
• Provide technical direction during build, integration, and validation.
• Review build records, configuration snapshots, and test results for approval before progression.
• Lead technical closure with the customer and obtain signoff on delivered solutions.
• Collaborate with project management, field engineering, consulting, and integration centers to ensure alignment.
