Job summary

AMD is seeking an experienced Test Engineer to own server- and rack-level hardware validation during customer bring-up and early deployment. You will bridge AMD engineering, large data center customers, and global ODM partners, driving automation and efficient validation.

Ideal candidates have strong debugging, scripting in C/C++ and Python, and leadership to resolve complex issues. Seattle-based preferred with visa-free mobility to Santa Clara or Austin as options.

• Experience validating CPU/GPUs in complex systems.
• Proven leadership to drive complex issues to closure.
• Self-starter with ability to mentor junior engineers.
• Strong debugging techniques and automation mindset.

Responsibilities

• Drive hardware and firmware validation during customer bring-up and early deployment.
• Develop automation tools and scripts to improve validation efficiency.
• Collaborate with AMD engineering and global ODM partners.
• Lead debugging and triage across validation, regression, and processes.
• Ensure features are validated and optimized on schedule.
