Job summary

Data Center Frontier LLC is seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning Agent for a Bastrop, TX data center project with limited travel. You will coordinate between engineering and construction teams to drive the Cx process, lead Level 1-3 commissioning, and manage 3rd party CxA firms as needed.

Strong documentation and client-facing skills are essential. The role requires deep knowledge of electrical power systems, data center protocols, and QA/QC practices.

Qualifications

• 4-10+ years experience with Electrical Power Systems.
• Bachelor's / Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant experience including Military a plus.
• P.E or EIT a plus.
• Experience commissioning enterprise data centers, colos, and hyperscale companies.
• Data Center Project experience on projects 5 MW or larger a plus.
• 3-5 years of Quality Assurance / Quality Controls, Commissioning, MEP Coordination, or other relevant experience.
• Certifications as a Cx Professional (BCxP, CxA, CCP, etc.)a plus.
• NETA / NICET certification a plus.
• Journeyman or Master’s License in MEP a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Electrical equipment testing experience in a Critical Facilities / facility environment.
• Previous experience conducting Level 1-5 Commissioning.
• Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodic site walk-throughs to ensure procedures and standards are followed.
• Manage and perform level 1-3 commissioning procedures per established practices.
• Oversee 3rd Party CxA firms for commissioning work above L3.
• Communicate status of the operation process with senior management.
• Site acceptance and commissioning to meet Company Standards.
