QTS Realty Trust is seeking a Critical Environment Engineer to support electrical and mechanical systems across its data center portfolio. The role emphasizes planning, proactive partnership, and hands-on support for 24x7 operations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in technical engineering roles within data centers and holds HVAC or critical power certifications. Domestic travel up to 50% is expected and US citizenship is required for certain contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or professional equivalent.
• 5+ years of engineering-related experience in technical or critical environments.
• HVAC or critical power certifications or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with engineering coordination, installation, and integration of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Support 24x7 data center operations to achieve uptime and SLA compliance.
• Witness testing during commissioning and ensure proper documentation.
• Coordinate site technical solutions for customer move-ins and turn-ups.
