Job summary

EdgeConneX is seeking a Critical Systems Coordinator I to support the North America regional team in coordinating day-to-day technical and administrative activities for data center critical systems. The role, reporting to the NA/SA Critical Systems Manager, can be based onsite across multiple US locations with up to 20% travel.

The position emphasizes preventive maintenance planning, asset documentation, and vendor coordination to ensure reliable data center operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in facilities, maintenance, or data center operations.
• Experience managing data center maintenance schedules across multiple buildings is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic data analysis (spreadsheets, simple charts, and KPI tracking).

Responsibilities

• Drive progress on maintenance plans by monitoring PM schedules and following up to avoid delays.
• Schedule and track preventive and corrective maintenance for critical systems in the CMMS, coordinating with contracted vendors.
• Coordinate with vendors and customers to ensure maintenance activities are planned, communicated, and executed as scheduled.
• Maintain accurate asset records in CMMS and Asset Manager systems, including inventory and maintenance history.
• Create and maintain maintenance MOPs and follow established processes, standards, and policies.
• Document work outcomes and provide reports and supporting documentation to management as needed.
• Travel requirement: up to 20%.
