Job summary

Aligned Data Centers is seeking a facilities technician to support maintenance across multiple mechanical areas, including HVAC, plumbing, generators, and life-safety systems. The role involves monitoring building systems and responding to equipment issues on a data center campus.

Under supervision, you will use MS Office, work with electronic ticketing, and perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Working knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical critical facilities systems is a plus.
• Must be able to work 40 hours plus occasional overtime.
• Computer skills required: MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance of multiple mechanical areas including HVAC, plumbing, generator operations, fire detection and suppression, life safety, and building management systems.
• Maintain and monitor electronic work-order ticketing system for preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
• Inspect buildings, lighting systems, grounds and equipment for safety and proper operation; identify hazards and needed repairs.
• Perform basic electrical troubleshooting and light repairs as experience allows.
• Operate and handle a variety of tools and equipment; assist with inventory and tool purchases.
• Occasionally move supplies and equipment; overtime and weekend work may be required.
